I wanted to recommend the Hunger Games Trilogy to read. I totally thought it was not for me and it was going to be another Twilight kind of thing. But since Mrs. M recommeded it to us, I decided to read it. Seriously it is a great book!! I could not put it down and finished the first one in two weeks and then read the other two. It is really suspenseful and really makes you think about survivial. It is for sure a guy and gal book. It has fighting scenes and everything. I totally recommend reading the books before you see the movie. The movie is awesome as well, but the book is definitely better than the movie. I will post the Trailer for the movie for those of you have not seen it to check it out and to see what it is all about. Just do it!! Read the books!!

Book Review/Movie

November 19th
ELA- today we used class time to read our novel study book. If you completed your reading you were to add a response to your blog about the chapter you have read. Remember to talk about setting and character development.
Science-Was taught about the rock cycle and went online and watched a few videos on it.
Math- we worked on adding and subtracting fractions
Social Studies-began discussing Human Rights and had a great class conversation about human rights. We also watched a video by Amnesty International.
Gym- Basketball
Art- working on our shadowing project

Book Report
I just finished my book report on our literature circle novel. This is one of the best books that I have EVER read!! If you like historical novels, you will love this book. The best thing about the book is the description of the characters. The author does a really good job in helping you imagine what they are like. You really feel like you are there with them. I can't wait to read the second one!!!!!
